Sewing Project- DIY Vintage Fabric Napkins

We had quite a few friends over for dinner this past week at the Vintage Mama & Me house, so we decided to brighten up our table setting with some gorgeous vintage fabric napkins.
We started by rifling through the Vintage Mama's sewing box to see what fabric we could find.
Gorgeous late 50 s sewing box is a family heirloom
We decided on this gorgeous vintage floral as the ditsy print had a subtle edge and the colour way was perfect for the room!
Out came the trusty JL mini's and we were away!

Vintage Mama hard at work!
First was the hard part, teeny tiny seams had to be folded in, ironed, folded and ironed again, then sown to hem the rough edges. Fortunately only one finger got pricked in the process!

Let the pinning begin

Once all four seams had been sewn, the napkins were done! Don't they look vintage chic?!

All finished!

The final table

gorgeous!
What have you made lately? Hope you had fun!!
